10mm, 12mm and 16mm racks have drainage holes in the bottom of each test tube cavity. (This enables the rack to be used in water baths or similar and facilitates cleaning of the rack).   These racks also feature an alphanumeric array that permits easy identification of individual test tubes when the rack is in use.
